The 1955 Fairlane Crown Victoria was a hit all round, with it’s stainless trims, and the crowning glory of it’s chrome roof.  You can see the charm of the sweeping chrome band which bisects the roof of the car.

The Fairlane was reputed to have been named after Henry Ford’s not so humble place of abode, and the birthplace of the Ford family.

During the fall of 1954, this darling tropical rose and Snowshoe White Crown Victoria captured the hearts of consumers, with it’s heavenly magental pink and snowshoe white interior. http://www.billsclassiccars.com/carpages/pinkfairlane.html

This 1956 version of the Crown also looked beautiful in meadowmist green and colonial white.
