Pink Panther 1970 Dodge Challenger

April 8, 2007

Panther Pink was a colour amongst a number of groovy and somewhat arbitrary names like Top Banana for high performance high horsepower cars like the Dodge Challenger muscle car 70dodgeta.jpg

At the close of the 1960’s the high performance market was thriving, and some of the most sought after cars were being produced by Plymouth and Dodge.

The performance image of the Barracuda and Challenger demanded no less than a variety of vibrant high impact paint such as Tor-Red, Plum Crazy, Panther Pink, Vitamin-C and top banana.

Pictured below is a Dodge 1970 Panther Pink exterior with a black bucket interior which has been impeccably restored.

Perhaps that explains why so many diecasts are around of this car.
