The hot pink 1963 Shelby Cobra Dragonsnake is in it’s high performance drag racing condition.

This baby blue cobra dragon  

  sold last year for over 1.5 million, and there is speculation as to whether the breathtaking magenta cobra dragon is the original  maroon one with a pink makeover.  

Its actually painted in magenta metalflake paint.

A competitor in many different classes it won many championships in the 60’s setting new records.

It is on the auction block at the forthcoming Mecum High Performance Auction being held in Belvidere together with more 1500 classic cars. The five day affair will attract classic car and Detroit’s original heavy metal enthusiasts.

Muscle cars particularly Ford Mustangs, Chevy Camaros and Impalas are expected to be snapped up quickly, being particularly popular in the car auction market at present.

Car auctions are notoriously unpredictable in the prices cars fetch, but there are cars ranging from $5K to six figure sums.
