Primal pink women

Cognitive pink! A new colour?
No. Research results have been publishedsuggesting women may be hardwired for colours with pinkish tones.
Whilst all volunteer participants in the study expressed a preference for blue, women otherwise favoured colours towards the redder end of the spectrum, with men veering towards the greener end.
It is speculated that women’s ‘hardwired’ preference for pink may hark back to hunter gatherer days when their duties were to gather ripe berries and fruits.
In times gone by however boys were dressed in pink and girls in blue, so I am a little dubious about the whole ‘programming’ argument.
